Gary’s journey with outdoor education started as a trainee teacher where he was part of the team studying how outdoor education and pursuits were conducted in the United Kingdom.

 

This journey then continued to make further headway during his teaching career as the teacher-in-charge of the outdoor activities club, sailing, and leadership development. He holds a Master in Education, trained in Challenge Course Management, and also possesses several certifications in ropes course training, rescue as well as sailing.

 

Other past experiences include sitting in national committees involved in ropes course safety, sailing, and leadership development.

 

Fikri started his journey as an outdoor trainer in 2014. He is a graduate of Republic Polytechnic with a Diploma in Sports and Leisure Management. He desires to impact others and help promote the mission and exceed team goals with the use of his education and expertise. 

 

Being with the Emergency Ambulance Service (EAS) with the Singapore Civil Defence Force prior to his journey as an outdoor trainer, it has equipped Fikri with the medical skills and expertise to remain calm and take control during a chaotic situation

 

NurSukashi Erliana is a person who believes in the development of
youths through the outdoors. Having worked with youths and children, she believes that little things and every small effort from every individual will have an impact in shaping them.

 

Always up for new adventures and challenges, she is ready to render support in anyways so long as it coincides with her passion and drive for youth development.

 

Jennifer is a person who loves numbers! Through her many years of experience in the different industries, she believes that SLDC is a meaningful workplace for her to apply her skills and knowledge in.
